Pictures a week

Published by edw0002

This is my picture for this week the 22nd of the 8th.

Mount Rouse

on Sunday the 17th of August one of the children that mum teachers R.E at school did their First Communion Confirmation in Penshurst. After we went to church we went to mount rouse. As we were driving up mount rouse we saw lots of little wallabies. We parked at the car park at mount rouse and walked up to the look out. It was a great view of all the houses and paddocks around Penshurst. It started to spit ran so we started to walk back to our car. On our way to our car it started to pour ran.

Every one in our class has journals and our teacher makes us find a picture each week and write about it.

As I waited to read out my speech at the Public Speaking Challenge, my nerves started to build. My speech was about, What Australia Means To Me. As I stood up to speak, my knees shook with fear. Before I knew it I had finished my speech. But did I do it well or not? Equal second was Chloe and Mathew. But who come first? I didn’t think I could do it, but then RACHAEL was called out. I did it. I won the medal and I got my name on a plark at the school. It was a great experience.

Mum took this photo on our holiday at Port Mac Donnell. In January 2007. The peaceful beautiful sunset as it goes down in Port Mac Donnell. The dark water looked like it was shimmering, as the sun went down.
