My friend and I are doing a project on The Great Wall of China. We have to prsent our project to our class very soon. We are going to show this toondoo as well as a recorded speech and a photo story.

This is a picture I drew of the olympic rings. I drew these rings in ms paint.  I think it was hard to make the circles look really neat.

I made this mind map all about nouns and the different types of nouns. I made this mind map using bubblus.

Today we are wearing our favourite football teams colours because we are celebrating the150th  anniversery of the AFL football clubs. We payed 2 dollars to dress up in our favourite football teams colours. Half the money went towards the SRC and the other half went towards jump rope for heart(Heart Foundation). I don’t really have a favourite football team but I am wearing Essendon colours. I am actually wearing my brothers football jumper, it is Essendon. My hole family goes for Essendon. This is a AFL website.

These questions are from mrs murch’s blog at http://murch.globalteacher.org.au/                                      On the 28th of July, Mrs Leo came from Boston, north eastern USA, into our grade 6 and 7 class. She used “virtual classroom software” which has been developed by an Australian, to share some powerpoint slides, audio, video and chat. Let’s reflect on this amazing lesson and write a post about it.

Leo pressented  some slides to us about:

• pictures of apex park
• aerial view of Hawkesdale
• Vegemite
• a lizard and many more.

These are some of the questions she asked us:

• What is Vegemite and how do you eat it?
• What is a lizard and what does t eat?
• What is a soccer oval?

The question that surprised me the most was:

• What is a soccer oval?

Did you learn anything new during the session? Yes

I think that Leo would have learnt a lot about Hawkesdale and the different animals and things in and around Hawkesdale because the people who spoke to her explained things very well. 

What skills do you think we need to develop and improve upon to successfully participate in such a class?

• Speak louder and clearer into the microphone.

Can you see this as being the classroom of the future? Why or why not?

Yes I could imagine it being the classroom of the future because it will get very popular in the world and people will start using it more and I think it will turn into a future classroom.

Yestirday some of the grade five six’s had winter sports in Port Fairy. I was in the A team. The A team won all there games and get to go to Portland on Friday. I was mainly goal attack. I am happy that we won all our games, but I am cross because I won’t be able to play on Friday in Portland because I have to get my braces on. The B team won all there games to but they don’t get to go any further. The teams were mixed between Hawkesdale and Woolstorpe.

My Cluster Map is very dear to me. I look at it every time I go on my blog and I count all the dots I have. It is really exciting when I get dots from other places in the world. I am really excited when I see another dot appear on my Cluster Map. I am getting lots of dots from around the world.
