Our ICT teacher asked us to take pictures of peoples head and ears in our class.

This weekend was the long weekend. We had Friday off school because it was Report writing day and we had Monday off school because it was a Public holiday for the Queen’s Birthday. On Friday we went shopping and I got new netball shoes. On Saturday and Sunday we stayed at home and I had to help mum and dad check the sheep because the ewes have started lambing. They are so cute. On Monday I stayed at home and did some baking. I bake choc chip muffins, apple pudding, cream cake and pancakes for lunch. It tastes good.

I went on a holiday to Queensland with my family from the 03/05/2010 to the 13/05/2010. Two days before we left to go to Queensland my brother bent his collar bone so he couldn’t go on many of the rides and our car broke down so we couldn’t drive to the airport so we had to get up at four O’clock in the morning and catch the 5:30 train to Melbourne where we made our way to the airport.

On the first full day we were there we had 5 inches of rain but other than that the weather was nice. We stayed at Diamond Sands on Mermaid Beach. We were on the third story. (The top story) We went in the pool at Diamond Sands every night and we went swimming at the beach once. We went  shopping at Carrara market, Harbour town and Pacific fair. We went to four different theme parks, Movie World, Sea World, White Water World and Dreamworld. I went on all the rides at White Water World and I went on some of the rides at the other theme parks. I had a great time and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Sue Waters who is editor of the edublogger has written a post, asking whether  formal style, proper grammar and good spelling ARE important in student posts and comments!

How do you feel about your grammar and spelling being corrected in posts and comments?

 I think it would be good to have somebody correct your spelling and grammar on your comments or posts.  Sometimes I don’t understand what some people say when they leave a comment on my blog because they use slang or mispell words. I wouldn’t care if somebody corrected my spelling on my blog and comments, because if they are left some people may not know what the word is.  I might not even know that I made that mistake.

The first thing I do when I get home from school is have something to eat and then I watch television or go and read in my room.

In the future I want to be a cook and do well at school.
