For easter my family and I went to a place in south Australia called Port Mac Donnell. We had great fun there, we had a beach across the road from us and some mornings, two dolphins swam past our accommodation. We were also in walking distance from a pier where we could fish off. I caught seven fish during our stay there. None of them were sized so we had to throw them back. My little brother caught his first fish. Easter bunny came and spoilt us with lots of eggs.

On the 19th of march Hawkesdale raced against the Woolstorpe school Sports Day.  Before the first race I was  nervous and had butterflies. I got a first in the two hundred, a first in long jump(I got two  meters and ninety two centimeters) , a first in the one hundred, a first in the four hundred, a first in the relay, a second in tunnel ball and a third in high jump.  I raced against the under 13 girls and won the medal. I had a terrific day and was happy how I went.

Tomorrow Thursday march the 19 th is sports day. Every year at Hawkesdale school we have a sports day. We have advents like shot put, discus, high jump, long jump, one hundred meter, two hundred meters, the preps do 60 meters and at the end of the day we have the four hundred for the grade 4 , 5 and 6 children to do. We also have team advents witch are captinball, tunnel ball, bob ball (for the grade prep,1,2, and three children) and the relay. I am in every event accept captinball.

For Easter my family and I are going to Port McDonald in South Australia. We have a variety of things we can do there. We can go fishing, see dolphins, play on the playground and go to the beach as well as other things. We have been there twice before. Happy Easter.

When we are in year six at Hawkesdale we get these tops that say our name on them. We received the tops today. It was very exciting.
