At school as part of a group project year 8 is organising a talent show for children in prep to year eight. We are having alot of fun orgainising it. We have chosen judges from our class and everything.  Our teacher asked us to make a wordle with some verbs we have used during our organising so far.

Our ICT teacher asked us to take pictures of peoples head and ears in our class.

Science food Challenge

On the holidays we were asked by our science teacher to write down everything we eat, drink and exercise for seven days. After we collected all our data we had to put it together in a table and add roughly how many kilojules were in the food, drink and exercise. I thought it was a fun task to do and I was suprised how many kilojules I ate each day and how much exercise I did. I was suprised I ate roughly 56,921 kilojules for the week. My basal metabollic rate is 9484.4 This is what my table looked like.

This weekend was the long weekend. We had Friday off school because it was Report writing day and we had Monday off school because it was a Public holiday for the Queen’s Birthday. On Friday we went shopping and I got new netball shoes. On Saturday and Sunday we stayed at home and I had to help mum and dad check the sheep because the ewes have started lambing. They are so cute. On Monday I stayed at home and did some baking. I bake choc chip muffins, apple pudding, cream cake and pancakes for lunch. It tastes good.
